Day 2. Delhi Sightseeing

Arrival in Delhi. Transfer to the Hotel Shangrila Eros. Afternoon sightseeing includes visits to the famous monuments of Old and New Delhi. Enjoy lunch at the Lodhi Gardens.

Day 3. To Amritsar Golden-Temple

Travel from Delhi to Amritsar, the city of Golden Temple – the holiest place for Sikhs. Transfer to Hyatt Hotel. Sightseeing tour of the bustling Amritsar city. Evening visit to the Golden Temple. Find yourself immersed in the spiritual energy of the place by witnessing the Sukh Aasan ceremony – a grand ceremony that takes place around midnight- when the holy book of Sikhs is taken for an overnight rest. Be a part of this enthralling spiritual experience.

Also explore the free kitchen and Langar – a massive benevolent human effort, which feeds around 25,000 people every day of the year for lunch and dinner. Every day, tonnes of food are cooked in this voluntarily supported kitchen by the community. Anyone can volunteer for these services and experience the power of energy and humanity.

Full day painting excursion at the Amritsar Golden Temple.

Drive to Dharamshala – and then stay at the Grace Cottage.

Visit to Dharamshala Town/ HH Dalai Lamas teaching / Painting / sightseeing.

Travel by Toy train and then by Shatabadi Express Train to reach Delhi- Stay at the Shangrila Eros.

Day 15. Delhi

Morning at leisure. In the afternoon, visit the Sanskriti Kendra – Anandgram and then visit the Museum of Everyday Art in India, the Museum of Indian Terracota and the Museum of Indian Textiles. These Museums are the main parts of the Sanskriti Kendra, which works towards preserving and nurturing the creative talent and eminence of the Indian Art and Culture. The visit ends with an enlightening talk and a farewell dinner.
