Day 02 Arrival Cochin

Meeting, assistance on arrival and transfer to your hotel. Check-in at HotelOld Harbour for

(Cochin has a history stretching back to the time of King Solomon, when it was known as ‘Queen of the Arabian Sea’. Arabian, Phoenician and Chinese traders all stopped here in search of spices, silks and sandalwood. Marco Polo and Vasco da Gama followed, as did the Dutch East India Company and later the British. Today, Christians, Jews, Muslims and Hindus still live side by side, and Chinese fishing-nets, introduced by merchants from the court of Kublai Khan, continue to haul in Fish. The adjoining backwaters make it a popular destination).
Enjoy sightseeing of Cochin visiting the Jewish Town & Synagogue, the Dutch Palace, St Francis Church and Chinese fishing nets.
Evening witness Kathakali Dances and see the interesting process of the make up for dances by the artists. (Suggest an early arrival to witness the paintwork on artists’ body).
Day 03 To Kozhikode
Morningdrive to Kozhikode.(approximately 5 hrs driving time). Check-in at Kadavu Resort for 1 night (Standard room).
Kozhikode is a coastal city in the south Indian state of Kerala. It was a significant spice trade center and is close to Kappad Beach, where Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama landed in 1498. The central Kozhikode Beach, overlooked by an old lighthouse, is a popular spot for watching the sunset. Inland, tree-lined Mananchira Square, with its musical fountain, surrounds the massive Mananchira Tank, an artificial pond.
Enjoy rest of day in Kozihkode at leisure on beach.
Day 04 ToSultan Battery
After breakfast a scenic drive through the lush green hills of Wayanad district in Kerala to ‘Tranquil’ – a Plantation hideaway. (Approximately 3 hrs driving time).
Enjoying culinary classes and cooking demonstration in the hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure to roam in the 400 acre plantation rich in pepper, vanilla and cardamom. A visit can be arranged to the nearby Edakkal caves famed for its 5000 years old Neolithic rock etchings. Or simply relax!

Day 05 ToNagarhole National Park
After breakfast, drive to Nagarhole National Park (Approximately 2 hrs driving time). – one of the finest wildlife Parks in South India. An afternoon of game viewing on the banks of the Kabiniriver.
Nagarhole National Park, is a national park located in Kodagu district and Mysore district in Karnataka state in South India. This park was declared the thirty seventh Project Tiger tiger reserve in 1999. It is part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve.

Day 06 Nagarhole National Park
A full day of jungle activities at Nagarhole National Park with a Naturalist, in search of the elephant, tiger, spotted deer, sambhar, mongoose,peacock and jungle fowl.

Day 07 To Mysore
After an early morning game drive and breakfast, leave for Mysore.(Approximately 2 hrs driving time).
Mysore (or Mysuru), a city in India’s southwestern Karnataka state, was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore from 1399 to 1947. In its center is opulent Mysore Palace, seat of the former ruling Wodeyar dynasty. The palace blends Hindu, Islamic, Gothic and Rajput styles. Mysore is also home to the centuries-old Devaraja Market, filled with spices, silk and sandalwood.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of the lovely city of Mysore, includes the hilltop Sri Chamundeswari Temple, the striking monolithic Nandi Bull, Mysore Palace and the Devraja market.

Day 08 Mysore
Morning visit to Srirangapatna, an island Fortress on the River Cauvery. High walls protect Temples, Palaces and a great Mosque. It was once the home of Hyder Ali and his son TipuSultan – The Tiger of Mysore. Afternoon visit the superb Temple at Somnathpur built to celebrate Hoysala craftsmanship by the renowned Commander Somnath.

Day 09 ToCoorg
Morning drive to Coorg(approximately 2 hrs driving time).via the Tibetan settlement and Golden Temple at Bylakupe. Dubbed the “Scotland of India”, Coorg is surrounded by lush green forests and acres of tea and coffee plantations.
Check-in at Heritage Resort for 2 nights (Standard room).
Kodagu, also known as Coorg, is a rural district in the state of Karnataka in southwest India. In the area’s north, Madikeri Fort has 2 life-size elephant statues at its entrance, plus a Gothic-style church with a museum on its grounds. Nearby, the Hindu Omkareshwara Temple dates back to the 19th century. Farther north are the domed Raja’s Tomb, a burial place of Kodava kings, and cascading Abbi Falls.

Day 10 Coorg
Day at leisure to walk, cycle or trek in this picturesque coffee country. Visit the Dubare Elephant Camp and become a ‘Mahout’ – feed, bathe and ride on an elephant.
Day 11 ToTellicherry
After breakfast, a lovely drive across the Western Ghats to Tellicherry on the North Malabar Coast. (approximately 4 hrs driving time).
Thalassery also known as Tellicherry is a commercial city on the Malabar Coast in Kannur district, in the state of Kerala, India, bordered by the districts of Mahé, Kozhikode, Wayanad and Kodagu.
Afternoon visits to Tellicherry Fort and Odathil Mosque.
Check-in at Ayesha Manzilt for 1 night (Standard room) – a beautiful heritage home.
Day 12 To Kozhikode
Morning at leisure. Late afternoon transfer to Cochin airport Or your preferred airport for home country.
